【大紀元2017年04月27日訊】（大澳门威尼斯人赌场官网記者石青雲美国維吉尼亞州報導）《美國新聞和世界報導》公佈了全美最佳公立高中排名，維吉尼亞州、馬里蘭州和華盛頓特區各有一所高中進入前100排名，其中維州的托馬斯·杰斐遜科技高中更是排在全美第6。

位於維吉尼亞州費爾法克斯郡（Fairfax County）的托馬斯·杰弗遜科技高中（Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology）在全美公立高中里排名第6，同時在「STEM」（科學、技術、工程和數學）領域公立高中里排名第二。

馬里蘭州排名第一的公立高中是溫斯頓·丘吉爾高中（Winston Churchill High），在全美排名第75。馬州最好的5所高中均位於蒙哥馬利郡。

此外，根於高中生參與和通過美國大學預科考試的比例情況，馬州連續三年在大學入學準備排名中位居第一。

華盛頓特區內共有37所公立高中進入排名，排在第一的無牆學校高中（School Without Walls High School）位列全美第84，但特區內的其它高中均排在500名以後。

馬里蘭州公立高中排名：

維吉尼亞州公立高中排名：

1. Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology（#6）

4. Oakton High School（#198）
5. Woodson High School（#205）
