Hatikva Quater, (quarter of hope) in Tel Aviv, Israel,famouse for its market and numerous restaurants, is a very close and friendly neighbourhood where everybody knows everybody else and although it is relatively a low to middle class place people care for each other and there is a great emphasis in the comunity on education, culture and social volunteering.

In 2004, Kohava Yogev was elected “Mother of the Quarter” at Hatikva Quarter for her voluntary contribution to the comunity. Right now she raises 17 children at her home, six being her own and the rest are adopted and foster children. During the day, while all the “children”, some of them already grownups, are out, for school or work or chores, she cooks, cleans and launders for them all, and is still cheerful and high spirited.
