【大紀元9月23日訊】香港太陽報報道:前美國國務卿奧爾布賴特在剛出版的回憶錄中,多次提及中國前國家主席江澤民。她回憶,江澤民笑起來時,總讓她想起“微笑的貓”(Cheshire Cat,出自《愛麗絲夢游仙境》,寓意動不動露牙齒嘻嘻笑的人)。她形容江澤民殷勤好客,喜歡賣弄。
奧爾布賴特在國務卿任內曾多次會見江澤民,九七年十月江澤民訪美時,她陪同總統克林頓和江舉行峰會。她說,江澤民參觀白宮林肯廳時,曾當眾背誦林肯的“Gettysburg演說”,江澤民和她談話時也夾雜英文和俄文,在有些場合還引述詩詞,把他的翻譯弄得很狼狽,大皺眉頭。
