沙巴藝術設計學院與國際畫廊接軌
人們常說:相對於歷史悠久的東方文化來源,。美國的歷史較短,。古蹟難尋。其實,稀世古蹟在美國並非沒有,只是鮮為人知罷了。一種飲知料能受到大人小孩的歡迎,。暢銷世界二百多個國家,當今只有可口可樂莫屬了。其文明發源地及總部,就在亞亞特蘭大,位於市中心的可口可樂世界。映入眼簾的數以百計用不同文字,印有可口可樂商標的空瓶子持在鐵架下傳送,接著你可以看到舊式汽水裝瓶器的展示。以及可口可樂玻璃瓶的進化過程。還有錄影帶得冠軍。並作為永久珍藏。
1978年,美國藝術教育中心(NAEA)創立了國家藝術榮譽協力(NAHS)此協力只對九年級至十二年級的高中生。並以啟發和承認學生的繪畫才能為宗旨。凡是在藝術界裡擁有出眾的才華和優良傳統成績,都能夠獲得此殊榮譽,幾年來沙巴藝術設計學院67名學生奪得全美,、喬金州各類繪畫和設計大獎,一躍成為國家榮譽協會成員。
2014年學生獲得的成就列表
• Megan Wu, kindergartner who received the National Award of Excellence in the PTA Reflections competition 2013-2014 Visual Arts category with her artwork entitled 「「Our Dreams and Futures」」.
•
• Lily McClellan』s bookmark design was chosen in the Gwinnett County Library for the 1st prize bookmark design winner.
• Students are currently participating in the Community Art Exhibitions (SouthCrest Bank, East West Bank 「EWB」, Lobster House, Oriental Pear Restaurant, Cartoon Cook Restaurant, Perimeter North Family Medicine, Hartson-field-Jackson International Airport and etc.)., They will receive an appreciation honor award at the SKA Annual Award Ceremony.
• Christina Zhao, Christopher Loh, David Hsi and Erin Li arts were presented to the US Department of Education in Washington DC for the Champion Creatively Alive Children Art EXPO. Their artworks were selected to permanently adorn the walls of Washington D.C. State Education Offices across the country.
• Eight Grader Tiffany Weng participated in the Forsyth County Visions Contest and received 2nd place with an award of $250.
• Alston Li and Grace Chiu for winning Georgia State for the River of Words Poetry and Art Competition!
• Andra Tudor (Middle School) and Erin Li (Elementary School) were selected to have their artworks displayed on the YAM flag for 2014. Also, honorable mentions include: Helen Peng, Susan Wang, Shannie Chang, Janais Chan, Willie Chi, Tiffany Weng, Ivy Xue, Jeni Kim, Thomas Xiao, Christina Zhao, and Christopher Lohr.
• The Art Selection Committee for the Women’s Art and Design Exhibition (WADE) at Brenau University has chosen Annette Sujo’s artwork for inclusion in the annual WADE exhibition and scholarship competition.
• Cody Bian, Troy Bian, Owen Li, Alston Li, Vanessa Ching, Kevin Lin, Kunyu Chung, Ben Zhang, Talia Ossip, and Omer Mujawar art were selected exhibited in the Capitol Hill Art, GA. Also, students exhibited at the Washington Exhibition are Colleen Cao, Sarah Tan, Christopher Lohr, Erika Tay, Kafaina Li, and Sentennie Li.
• The Reflections contest 「「Believe. Dream. Inspire.」」 Seventeen of our very own students placed in state! Their names are as follows: Sharon Chen 10th grade; Duo Wei Yang, 10th grade; Brandon Koh, 7th grade; Andra Tudor, 7th grade; Kaci Xie, 6th grade; Erin Li, 5th grade; Emily Lam, 4th grade Elvin Li, 3rd grade; Kristina Yu, 3rd grade; Iris Fan, 2nd grade; Cyrus Mokhberi, 1st grade; Megan Wu, K; Aaron Ye, Pre-K; Literature Winner: Priscilla Lin, 8th grade; Film Making Winner: Brandon Koh, 7th grade; Special Artist Visual Art Winner: Amy Yu; Special Artist Film Making Winner: Daniel Xing; Special Artist Photography Winner: Daniel Xing.
• Lily McClellan was chosen to display her artwork alongside other Gwinnett County School Winners at Moore Middle School as part of the Martin Luther King celebration and parade on Monday, January 20th.
• The State School Board Youth Art Gallery are Sharon Chen, Priscilla Lin, Christopher Lohr, Sarah Tan, Emily Do, Erin Park, Jasmine Mujawar, Cianna Wang, Alice Ma, and Tiffany Weng.
• Claire Chang, Sharon Chen, Joshua Kwon, and Michelle lung were selected for the University of South Carolina Beaufort』s 3rd Annual Emerging Artists Competition. The following artworks were chosen for the USCB Emerging Artists Scholarship for $2,000 over four years.
• Daniel Hao, Annette Sujo, and Michelle Lung received scholarships from Watkins College of Art, Design, and Film for their outstanding portfolios. Daniel Hao received $20,000 over four years. Annette Sujo and Michelle lung received $16,000 paid equally over eight semesters.
