【大紀元2010年11月15日訊】（大紀元記者南希/彩靈華盛頓DC報導）10月26日晚，華府大紀元時報與新唐人電視台在馬里蘭州洛城希爾頓飯店內聯合舉辦招待會，慶祝大紀元報慶十週年，以及華府新唐人電視台在華府無線數碼頻 道WDCW50.3頻道和有限電視網Verizon 482頻道全天24小時播出。
馬里蘭州聯邦參議員、眾議員、州長、州議員、蒙哥馬利郡郡長、蓋城市長、洛城市長等各級官員為大紀元與新唐人頒發16項褒獎，讚揚大紀元、新唐人獨立、自由的精神，以及為對當地華人社區的貢獻。
