XX – I was listening to China Radio International’s shortwave radio broadcast yesterday morning, Sunday, July 2, 2006. One of the top news stories was the passage of a new law regulating organ transplants. The law had three very strong provisions to prevent abuse of the system. Who knows if the law will be enforced? However, the story continued, that the law was passed because of pressure from overseas activists. That admission left me stunned! Maybe there is hope after all.
