日来了,由日晒;
风来了,由风吹;
雨来了,任雨淋;
浪来了,任浪冲;
而时间的锯子也不住地拉锯;
The Sea rock Hsu ChiCheng
I see the sea rock, it’s on the shallow sea.
Appears it’s so old brown, so dull image, let we think of honest and simple, and back to far ancient times. Is it Tang poetry? Song ci? Or is it a classic of poetry?
They are dried in the sun while the sun comes;
They are blown in the wind while the wind comes;
They are bumped the wave while the wave comes;
And are sawed ceaselessly by the saw of time;
However they stand erectly, remain unmoved.
Oh, they are so unswerving, stand firmly.
They are as dumb as fish, investigate themselves, to observe all things.
They keep their own counsel, we are difficult to find their secret.
Oh sea rock, how many definite views have you?
I want to eulogize you! I want to follow you!@
