那是一只矫翼的海鸥；

那是一个多姿的少女。
记得那一只矫翼的海鸥
当年是一只不起眼的雏鸟；
记得那一个多姿的少女
当年是一个病弱的丑小鸭。
不能看轻他人！
只要肯不停地努力
不放弃，坚持向前
谁都能大展鸿图！
注：作者于1960年代常接触更生日报。当年的更生日报很不起眼；四十余年不见，今日一“照眼”，颇有“士别三日，刮目相看”之慨。

Suddenly, in a light shinning
It’s a seagull spraying it’s wings;
Suddenly, in a light shinning
She is a girl in a riot of colours.
I can remember that seagull spraying it’s wings
Is a young bird which isn’t in my eyes at that time;
I can remember that girl in a riot of colours
Is a feeble ugly duck at that time.
Do not look down upon others!
Whoever can fully display his talents
If he want to make an effort incessantly
Not abandon, and go forward persistently!
Note: The author connected Keng-Shen Daily News frequently in 1960’s. The news paper wasn’t prominence; since no seeing it for 40 years, to take a look at it today, I feel that “leaving for three days, it will be view with another eyes.” @
