Beloved at the Mountain Peak
Perhaps you have erased me from your memories;
Or how could you leave me alone, neglecting me as
such?
How much time that has fled away is really hard to
count.
What’s known is nothing but my hair turning into
gray and white.
Still unwilling to resent you despite your
betrayal,
Which renders my torrential tears into rivers and
streams,
I am desperate for anything about you, here and
there.
To testify my love for you to the Almighty,
I’ll allow the brooks of my tears to flow
incessantly
To send you the message that, seeping into every
land and corner,
Someone in the hometown yearns for your return at
that mountain peak.
