Another group of foreign tourists who had been trapped near Mount Everest by bad weather arrive safely in Kathmandu.
另一组因天候不佳而受困在圣母峰附近的外国游客,已安全抵达加德满都。
Officials said about 2,000 foreign hikers were stuck for several days in the foothills of the mountain in a remote corner of Nepal.
相关官员表示,大约有2000名外国登山客,在尼泊尔边境角落的山脚受困数日。
Planes have now started to reach the small resort of Lukla – a gateway to Mount Everest 125 kilometres northeast of the Nepali capital – to help rescue those stranded.
飞机现在已开始抵达卢克拉的度假村 – 尼泊尔首都东北方125公里,通往圣母峰的入口 – 帮助营救那些滞留的旅客。
[Trekker]:
“Well, we spent at Lukla about five days waiting for the good weather. It was quite difficult time. Actually we have just returned from Kala Patthar, and base camp trip, and everybody was very exhausted.”

Supplies were flown in from Kathmandu for those still waiting to be rescued.
