A: Alex! What are you guys doing over there?

B: What do you mean, Janice?

A: I』ve been waiting for a response on the Blake Building design for nearly two weeks.

B: I』m sorry, Janice. But we』ve been waiting on the client. It』s out of our hands at the moment.

A:亞曆克斯!你們這幫人都在幹嘛呢?

B:你是什麼意思,珍妮絲?

A:我一直在等著對布萊克大樓設計的回復,等了快兩個星期了。

B:對不起,珍妮絲。可我們在等著客戶呢。此時此刻我們無能為力呀。

Criticism from your boss

A: Liz, you were supposed to have had those contracts typed up by now.

B: I was supposed to do that? I thought Sharon was responsible for that.

A: No, Liz. I asked you specifically. Don』t you remember?

B: I』m really sorry, Mr. Samuels. I really don』t remember that.
