The change is the result of an agreement between convenience stores and the government. It is expected to surprise countless office workers, travelers and others used to grabbing chopsticks with instant noodles or boxed lunches for decades.

[Another Convenience Store Customer]:”My doctor said some contents in the disposable chopsticks are not good for our health. He suggests we avoid using them and bring our own reusable chopsticks instead.”
