藍腹鷴（彩墨）

幾顆垂吊的石榴，有些成熟裂開了，有些還帶有青澀的綠，甚至樹上還有幾朵榴花呢。

一對藍腹鷴夫婦從石榴樹叢下走出來，從容、優雅地漫踱著。一定是有什麼東西驚動牠們了，都伸長脖子看。

藍腹鷴真是非凡的美。上帝費心地把那麼美的外衣給牠們穿，真是太厚愛了。牠們身上那種藍叫什麼藍，沒有文字能形容。人們只好說它是一種「寶藍」（是寶石的藍嗎？）泛著一種金屬光澤的藍，藍得真是沒話說啊。

Swinhoe’s Pheasant/ink and color painting

There are several hanging pomegranates-some ripe and splitting, and some still unripe green. There are even some pomegranate flowers on the trees.

A pair of Swinhoe’s pheasants have walked out from under the pomegranate trees. They are calmly, elegantly strutting. Some objects seem to have alerted them, and they are stretching their necks to see.

The Swinhoe’s pheasant is an extraordinarily beautiful creature. God must love these birds indeed to have given them such gorgeous coats. There are no words to describe the blue of their feathers. People can only say that it is a sapphire blue. Their lustrous metallic blue is truly indescribable.＠
