Sky TV goes undercover to discover illegal organ harvesting booming in China

天空電視台記者喬裝病患，以發現昌盛的中國非法器官移殖業

An undercover report from Sky TV, based in the UK, has verified many of the allegations of illegal organ harvesting in China first reported on by the Epoch Times.

【講解】

1.Undercover作為形容詞，意是是：working secretly using a false appearance in order to get information for the police or government，秘密地使用一個假的外表，以為警察或政府取得資訊。所以undercover police就是警察所喬裝的人，undercover detective就是刑警所喬裝的人，detective在過去是偵探，現在都指刑警，一般辦案刑警都穿便服。

2.Verify 作為動詞時，it means to prove that something exists or is true, or to make certain that something is correct. 也就是證實confirm的意思。

3.allegation指控的意思，也就是accusation, charge之意。

4.organ harvesting不要譯成器官收割，而是器官移殖。

Sky TV sent a reporter under cover with a hidden camera, to the Orient Organ Transplant Center, posing as a patient in need of a liver transplant.

【講解】

1.oriental是eastern 東方的上流講法，例如western西方的，則是occidental。

2.transplant可當動詞與名詞，這裡是名詞[C or U]，移殖的意思， when something is transplanted, especially an operation in which a new organ is put into someone’s body.

a liver transplant，肝臟移殖；a kidney transplant,腎臟移殖。

3.pose的意思很多，可以當中止、擺姿勢等，這裡則是「假裝」之意，to pretend to be something that you are not or to have qualities that you do not possess, in order to be admired or attract interest。

The reporter is told by the staff that the organs come from executed prisoners and that their facility has the “best connections.”

【講解】
