【大紀元2018年01月26日訊】（記者郭茗綜合報導）近日，新州公布了首次用百分制方法對州內所有公立學校進行評分排名的結果。評分的標準是基於各校標準化考試成績（PARCC）、長期缺勤率（chronic absenteeism）和高中學生畢業率。
正如預期的那樣，得到最高評價的許多公立高中是州裡那些精英高中，通常由郡職業技術學區管理，並進行選擇性招生。排名靠前的公立小學也基本上是眾所周知的那些較有名的學校。
州教育部門也承認，排名並不能反映學校的全貌，新澤西州最大的教師工會指出，這一排名過分依賴標準化考試成績，因此對學校的總體情況看法有失偏頗。
對於那些取得好的排名的學校來說，評分的結果顯示，他們在克里斯蒂上屆州政府最重視的一些領域取得了成功，其中包括中小學年度PARCC考試中成績較好。
