【大紀元2016年01月24日訊】（大紀元記者孫華紐約報導）經過了一天一夜的暴風雪，紐約迎來了一個晴朗的星期天。紐約政府宣佈，早上7點開始解除禁行令，部份地鐵、公交恢復營運。不過由於這次的降雪量太大，許多市民想要出門需清門口、挖車，而且現在的道路只是部份恢復，政府呼籲市民無緊急事情不要出行。
MAT發佈信息，由於地鐵地面部份積雪量過大，還有許多清雪工作沒有完成，只能恢復部份線路，晚點、改線路會隨時發生，請查好信息出門，並仔細聆聽站台的通知。公共汽車只有部份線路恢復，工作人員們在加緊清掃車輛的積雪，請關注更新信息。
已經開通的地鐵線路：
•1 train in the Bronx and Manhattan
•2 train in the Bronx
•3 train in Manhattan and Brooklyn
•4 train in the Bronx
•5 train in the Bronx
•6 train in the Bronx
•7 train in Queens
•D train in Brooklyn
•F train in Brooklyn
•G train in Brooklyn
•J train in Brooklyn and Queens
•M train in Brooklyn and Queens
•A train to Lefferts Blvd (currently terminates at Euclid Ave)
•N train to Astoria Ditmars Blvd (currently terminates at Lexington Ave/59 St)
仍然關閉的地鐵線路：
•A train in the Rockaways (Rockaway Line)
•Q train in Brooklyn (Brighton Beach Line)
•N train in Brooklyn (Sea Beach Line)
•L train to Broadway Junction (currently terminates at Myrtle Wyckoff Aves)
•S Franklin Avenue Shuttle
•Staten Island Railway
Metro-North鐵路已經部份恢復通車，中央火車站已經開放，中午12點將開通所有駛出線路，在下午3點會開放所有駛出、駛入線路。
長島火車還沒有恢復通車。由於路線積雪過厚，工人們在加緊清雪和檢修，希望能夠在星期一恢復通車。
