迎我以一個個傳奇故事

迎我以一幅幅彩畫精雕

傳奇故事閃現佛的智慧

彩畫精雕極盡藝術之美

令我不住驚歎，留連

莫高窟是一個佛教聖地

莫高窟是一座藝術寶庫

它將永遠矗立在我心中

That forenoon, whole the forenoon

I visited the Mogao Grottoes

Form one grotto to another

A thousand statues of Buddha in the grottoes

Greeting me with legendary stories one after another

Greeting me with coloured drawing and fine statues

The legendary stories shine with wisdom of Buddha

The coloured drawings and fine statues reach the peak of art

They made me wondering, and forget to return

The Mogao Grottoes is a historical site of Buddhism

The Mogao Grottoes is a treasure-house of art

It will tower aloft in my mind forever.@
