【大紀元2012年05月25日訊】（大紀元記者高強達拉斯編譯報導）達拉斯地區有幾十所高中學校在《新聞週刊》和《華盛頓郵報》最近公布的排名中榜上有名。其中有27所達福地區的高中學校入圍《新聞週刊》的全美1,000所最佳高中學校的名單，另外在《華盛頓郵報》的全美」最具挑戰性的高中」名單中，則有42所達拉斯地區學校上榜。

其中有兩所達拉斯獨立學區的高中學校在兩個排名中均名列前茅，這兩所學校分別是「人才和天才學校」(School for the Talented and Gifted)和科學與工程學校(School for Science and Engineering)。兩所學校在每個名單中均進入前十名之內。

「人才和天才學校」在《新聞週刊》的學校名單中連續第二年排名第二，該學校自2006年以來每年都被該雜誌評為最佳高中學校之一，每年均排在第一或第二位。該學校在《華盛頓郵報》的排名中則名列第六。

「科學與工程學校」在《新聞週刊》的排名中名列第四，在《華盛頓郵報》的排名名單中則排第三位。
