【大紀元8月20日訊】（大紀元記者高強編譯報導）《美國新聞與世界報導》雜誌每年對1,400所美國院校進行評比，包括全國性綜合大學和文科院校。排名可在www.usnews.com/colleges找到，並將發表在於8月31日發行的期刊上。

　　

這項排名是根據由卡內基基金會（Carnegie Foundation）發明的分類法把學校分成不同類別然後對各類別的學校進行排名。該排名是根據學生畢業率、師資資源、生源的選擇、財政資金來源、校友捐贈、以及對大學校長和高中顧問的調查結果。

　　

該報告包括全國性綜合大學類別中的262所大學，其中164所公立大學和98所私立大學。當中有大約200所被認為是全國性一線院校。以下是本地區一些高校今年的排名：
